"Saya In Elysium" Log

The record of words I wrote in the "Saya Today" column.

2012

I can't stop drinking hot chocolate. It's a starbucks brand, with little pieces of mashmallows. Yummy!

・07/11/2012
I've just gone out and ate some dumplings at a nearby restaurant on my own. It's the first time I've done something like that on my own in this country! (I'm in Taiwan). I'm glad my crappy Chinese worked! lol

・08/11/2012
It's getting colder in Taiwan. My mum has kindly sent me a box of winter clothes from Japan but it hasn't arrived yet.

・11/11/2012
The box of winter clothes has arrived. Mum also sent me a pair of fluffy&comfy pink slippers. With those I won't need to wear socks while I'm in my room!:)

・13/11/2012
"All wholsom food is caught without a net or a trap" saith William Blake. So I eat a lot of veggies whenever I can!

・21/11/2012
My aim in life is to be true to myself, as much as possible.

・26/11/2012
Oh!My followers are nearly reaching 350!

・27/11/2012
Wow my followers have now reached 350! Cool!

・ 1/12/2012
I was talking to my mum on Skype and she went "are you in uncle's house?" I was like "no, why?" then she went "I just heard a man's voice" I said "MUM, STOP IT. I'M ALONE IN MY OWN ROOM." So guys, maybe I should stop updating this blog. lol

・07/12/2012
I can't believe it's nearly Christmas. Not that realising that will make any difference to my life. I have no holiday until February next year (that's when they have the Chinese New Year).......
I went to a night market last night with a couple of friends. It was great. I bought a pair of comfy boots in the market and you wouldn't believe how cheap they were. They only cost me about 350 Taiwan dollars.
・14/12/2012: Sorry everyone, I'm late replying to your comments. I'm kinda tight on schedule (but dawdling like always). You have to be patient with me! :)

・15/12/2012:
Nowadays everytime there's a new member joining this blog, I check his/er profile. And I go WOW there are so many interesting people out there! That's a part of the pleasure of doing this blog, getting into contact with new people (however briefly). I appreciate every one of your presence. You've been an inspiration to me, as much as (I hope) I've been an inspiration to you.Cheers!

・25/12/2012
Merry Christmas, everyone!
If you aren't a Christian... well, you can still be merry! :D

2013

I thought after so many weeks of absence there'd be fewer people coming to my blog, but as soon as I reopened it, people came flooding back. It was a pleasant surprise.

・24/5
Wow, my blog members have just reached 444! That's something. Kinda goes with the theme of the blog, doesn't it?

@SAYA - i'm glad your mom sent you winter clothes^^ i heard that in taiwan the air is not good because of air pollution i hope you're okay in your area. don't forget to reinforce your vitamin c so you don't catch a cold take care(.^_^.)

SAYA said...

@ryuu: Thank you my dear. :D It's very kind and caring of you to say those words!

Yeah, some places, like in Taipei, the air is not so good, but I live in the countryside!! :D It's nice out here!! No worries!!

Oh! I have vitamin C tablets but I've been forgetting to take them! Thank you for reminding me!

Does you country ever get cold, ryuu? The climate here is generally warm, but it does get colder in winter, especially where I live!

You take care too, my friend!<3

@SAYA - i see and i will(.^_^.) umm..well the philippines is a tropical country so i guess its a little like taiwan. in baguio i think you would need winter clothes around this time of the year but i've never been there so i'm not so sure ahaha.. it does get cold where i am( a high place ) around this time at night but i don't always wear thick clothes?(i guess winter clothes) because i feel hot umm..it's like this sometimes my sister would ask me to turn off the electric fan because she feels cold but i feel hot so i would have to turn it off and bear the heat so it has something to do with my body temperature i guess.

SAYA said...

@ryuu: it's so interesting to hear about your country, ryuu!

I didn't know about Baguio at all until you mentioned it to me - I had to look it up on wikipedia (excuse me for my ignorance!). Sounds like a bustling, beautiful city!

It's such a pleasure to hear first-hand stories about other countries from someone who actually live there! It's times like these I feel glad I can communicate in English!

I live in a city surrounded by mountains! And the weather here gets quite unstable. It certainly rains a lot around here!

ryuu said...

@SAYA - you're not ignorant i myself look up things in wikipedia (.^_'.)"winks"
(oh my i'm ignorant too)LOL!

i'm also glad we can communicate in english since i don't know how to write in japanese or any other language not taught in my country and when i'm curious i use google translate like in anime theme songs but its not always accurate.

oh my i found this article about your area (surrounded by mountains)i hope it is not like this http://education.nationalgeographic.com/education/encyclopedia/smog/?ar_a=1
take care Saya.

SAYA said...

@ryuu: oh no, we don't suffer from smog here. The air is really clean! Don't you worry! :D Thank you dear.

yeah I find Google translation is better than many of the translation engines available on the net but it's still by far inferior to human translators! So that's where people like me come in! :D

ryuu said...

@SAYA - i see i'm a bit relieved.(.^_^.)

you're right and your translations are great.

SAYA said...

@ryuu: thank you ryuu, it's very sweet of you!

And you're so polite! You don't need to bow your head like that, friend! But since you do it, I'll do it in return!

m(_ _)m Thank you!!

Hey I was wondering if it's ok to draw out some of these stories into a comic as a fanart contribution for you (*ノωノ);; I really really love your blog

SAYA said...

@Anon: My dear, you sound so sweet (*^^*). Yes it would be nice to see your creative works, and when you've done them, would you mind me displaying them on my blog? Thank you dear for sending me a message.

Anonymous said...

@Saya I'd be honoured thank you!! ;Q; <333

SAYA said...

@Anon: The honour is mine, dear. Thank you! Looking forward to see your works! (^▽^)

woahh... the last post is.. in the future.. 26/11/2021.. that was a lil' creepy..

btw.. i love your blog saya.. :-) keep it up.. i'm starting to fall in love wit' you.. xD

SAYA said...

@Marvic Sajonia: That was a typo LOL. I corrected it!

Oh!You're falling in love with me?
I don't remember how many people have said that too me!
I know I'm just too irresistible XD

ryuu said...

@SAYA - were you really alone when your mom heard the voice? maybe an appliance was turned on like a t.v. or a radio or it was noisy outside, if not then all i can tell you is to take care and pray.

oh and what is the secret? i meant the "have you got the ability to see ghosts?" ritual.

SAYA said...

@ryuu: The thing is there's virtually noone on this floor during the day apart from myself and at the time I had no radios or TVs turned on, and it was all quiet outside! However I told mum, "it must be from the TV you have on in your sitting room!" So let's pray she just misheard it.

Yeah I really need to write something about that secret soon. Please wait a few more days!:)

ryuu said...

@SAYA - oh my i just remembered the old man that you said talked to you i think it was yesterday.XD forgive me i might be scaring you. m(__)m
hopefully your mom just misheard it.

i'll be waiting for that update. (.^_^.)

SAYA said...

@ryuu: nah, that's got nothing to do with the old gentleman I saw yesterday. No you're not scaring me at all.

I said "a few more days" but it actually might take a week or two.. I have other stories that I'm tranlating at the mo! Be patient with me! ;)

ryuu said...

@SAYA - okay that's good to hear i mean read :P

no worries i'll be patient. in the meantime i'll have a staring contest with my computer and press F5 every 5 seconds until the update appears...XD
just kidding. :P

take care(.^_^.)

I want to translate your Cryptic story into Vietnamese, with your kind permission, i hope you agree with me. Thank you very much

SAYA said...

@Anon: please go ahead, dear. Thank you for asking me first!

Anonymous said...

Will you post more Crytic story, Saya? I always waiting for yours, Please post as much as possible ^^!

SAYA said...

@Anon: I'll post whatever I feel like posting at the time. If I don't do it that way and only start posting things other people like, I'll lose interesting in doing the blog altogether. I really don't like to be pressurized. So although I understand you like cryptic stories and want to read more, please be patient and wait until I feel like posting them. Thanks.

Oh, how silly.
I thought it was another urban legend and expected to have a creepy ending, since most of the ones you post are susceptible to have such names as there is on the tin.

It's the curse of the rotten tomatoes!!! XD
Kidding aside maybe you were tired and didn't observe the tomatoes well..
